This giant, delicate wooden Buddhistic Prayer Wheel has been placed and worshiped in Longxing Temple for nearly eight centuries, acting as the silent medium between the religion and vernacular. The biggest challenge of this survey is to record almost every detail of the installation through hand drawing. Efforts have been made back and forth in revising and updating hand drawings before final digital modeling. Our work was the first systematic survey and accurate document of this piece of ancient intelligence.
